Dalekovod Successfully Completes Construction of the 2x110 kV Beričevo-Trbovlje Transmission Line in Slovenia

The 2x110 kV Beričevo-Trbovlje transmission line was formally opened for the investor Elektro Slovenija d.o.o., Slovenia’s transmission system operator. The contractor chosen for the project was a consortium of Elektro Servisi d.d. and Dalekovod d.d. and the contract was worth just over 7 million euros.
This transmission line established a new connection between the 110 kV Beričevo transformer stations and the 110 kV Litija transformer station, providing reliable supply of Litija and the surrounding area with electricity and connecting them with the planned power plant on the Sava River. All pre-commissioning tests were completed as early as 19 December 2012.

The transmission line provided the shortest possible electricity transmission route in the Sava region and much lower energy losses because the quality of the transmission system in Slovenia is now higher and the system is more efficient.

„Completing this task was very important for Dalekovod, especially because we managed to complete the transmission line 6 months before the deadline, despite the demanding route and use of helicopters, which proves we are a serious partner and perform all our obligations in the best possible manner.“ - said Matjaž Gorjup, Dalekovod’s CEO.
