The agreement for delivering suspension equipment to Norway is signed
(28/01/2010)
Following an international tender and pre-qualifiers, in a strong competition of globally renowned suppliers of suspension equipment, Dalekovod d.d. signed a framework agreement with the Norwegian Statnett (company for high-voltage electricity transmission and distribution)...
The agreement in question refers to delivering 60% of the total suspension equipment for transmission lines with rated voltage of 420 and 132 kV, which Statnett will use in construction and reconstruction in the next three years, with the possibility of automatic extension of agreement in the following period.
The globally renowned Austrian Mosdorfer Company was selected to deliver 30% of the total quantity of suspension equipment, whereas 10% of the total quantity of suspension equipment remains as a potentially free space.
Based on the planned investments into energy sector, the value of suspension equipment for the period of next three years is expected to exceed10 million EUR.
Dalekovod d.d. has been delivering their equipment and materials to this market for a while, and it is recognised as an extremely reliable and valuable partner. Due to extremely severe climatic conditions, the equipment to be installed requires a specific design and high quality, and it is therefore necessary to pass pre-qualifiers and meet the standards of quality, safety and ecology, as well as to conduct continuous tests.
Moreover, Norway pays particular attention to ecologic standards and environmental protection, and a part of equipment will therefore be protected in a specific way according to the ecologically acceptable norms, in order to minimise the violation of environment.
