success in business for the year 2005.
Dalekovod has for the third straight year received the Golden Kuna award for the best large company for business excellence in 2005. Along with the premier being present Dr. Ivo Sanader, present at the ceremony were also the majority of members of the Croatian government, delegates of the Croatian president, parliamentarians, and representatives of the diplomatic core and many other people from the business community.
Therefore, we would like to take this opportunity to congratulate all the employees at our company for this great achievement. This is a recognition of our success and excellence which we have built together. Dalekovod has in its 57 years of existence always being able to rely on its employees. Therefore, Dalekovod, besides making significant investments in new technologies for production, construction and environmental protection, we consider the most significant investment to be investments into development projects, and the systematic improvement of young and high trained employees. In the last few years, Dalekovod has grown into a company with almost 2,000 employees, highly qualified and trained personnel, whereby we endeavor to create a strong foundation for further technological and business development. The third Golden Kuna actually represents further encouragement to further all employees at Dalekovod. Finally, we would like to emphasize that Dalekovod’s attitude now and will be in the future will be to behave responsibily towards the Croatian society as a whole, meaning settling of obligations towards the government, owners and employees, opening new work places and reinvesting in the Croatian economy, engaging Croatian manufacturers and partners in all domestic and export projects including responsible behaviour towards the environment and its protection.
