Dalekovod TIM - Tvornica istegnutih metala d.d. (Expanded Metals Factory)
Dalekovod TIM – Tvornica istegnutih metala d.d. in Topusko has been doing business since 1961 under the name of TIM – Tvornica istegnutih metala d.o.o. Topusko. Prior to the Homeland War, the company employed around 500 workers and was an important manufacturer for the local and foreign market. Following Operation Storm in 1995, production was once again activated and privatization completed.
Dalekovod TIM d.d. is currently an autonomous factory within the framework of the Dalekovod Group employing about 140 workers. The complete production program has been renewed and initiated for the foreign market. The factory has specialized for the “roads program”, i.e. the production of guard and protective rails, portals.
The basic product manufactured by the factory is expanded metals, i.e. mesh made from expanded metal such as steel, aluminium, copper and similar metals. Meshes manufactured from expanded metals is used for multi-purpose fencing (garden fencing, yards, residential facilities, balconies and similar), and includes the production of industrial fencing.
The manufacturing program includes construction of supporting-columns of various dimensions that are essential for any larger construction project. Lattice treads of various dimensions and shapes are also produced for industrial plants. Deflecting rails for fencing motorways are manufactured (one-sided and double-sided for gullies and for structures such as bridges, overpasses and similar), pedestrian and protective rails on structures and prefabricated mobile fencing for temporary fencing purposes.
Our assortment includes steel pylons for wire fencing and columns for vineyards.
The presses can manufacture various cross-sections (U, C, L) in various dimensions.
Dalekovod TIM d.d. within the total manufacturing framework of the Dalekovod Group (approx. 30,000 tones annually) contributes to around 7,500 tones of various steel products.
