Dalekovod has been awarded a new contract in the Republic of Montenegro

The Consortium made up of the companies Siemens Austria and Dalekovod d.d. has received a Decision on contract award in the Republic of Montenegro on the previously issued international Invitation to Bid for:

  1. Extension of S/S 400/110 kV Ribarevina,
  2. Construction of S/S 110/10 kV Podgorica 5,
  3. Extension of S/S 110/35 kV Podgorica 3,
  4. Construction of 110 kV cable connection from S/S Podgorica 5 to S/S Podgorica 3, and construction of T/L 110 kV Podgorica 5 to the aluminium plant.

The Employer of the project is the National Power Authority of the Republic of Montenegro, and the project shall be financed by a loan provided by the KfW bank from the Republic of Germany.

The value of the contracted works shall amount to ca 13.5 million euros, of which works to be performed by Dalekovod shall amount to 7 million euros.

The anticipated deadline for completion of works is:

  1. 26 months for S/S Ribarevina,
  2. 12 months for S/S Podgorica 5 and 110 kV transmission line,
  3. 23 months for 110 kV cable network.

Within the scope of this contract SIEMENS shall, as the Consortium Member, deliver a transformer, primary assembly equipment and secondary equipment, while DALEKOVOD shall install SIEMENS’s accessories, test and commission the facilities and the substation, deliver and install a 110 kV cable, deliver the equipment and construct a 110 kV transmission line.
