Dalekovod has been awarded a project worth 376 million kunas

Dalekovod d.d. has received a Decision on Selection of the most favorable bid for performance of public works on the by-pass road of the town Rijeka, Section: Interchange Orehovica-Interchange Diračje, length 8.8 km, to the total amount of 376 million kunas.

The above public works include purchase and installation of electrical equipment for routes and tunnels, 110 kV underground transmission line and noise barriers.

Performance of works in tunnels shall start after signing the contract with the Autocesta Rijeka- Zagreb d.d. as the Project Investor. Completion of works is anticipated by 1 June 2009, whereby the by-pass road of the town Rijeka, which has been the most congested road direction, shall be finally completed. In this way, the access to the town centre shall be considerably relieved.
