A semi-annual financial report for Dalekovod d.d.

Dalekovod d.d. has released a financial report for the first six months in 2008.

Total revenue of Dalekovod in the first six months in 2008 in relation to the same period in 2007 has increased by ca 27% to the total amount of 820 million kn, and the highest increase of revenue has been recorded in the domestic sales that mainly refers to traditional local customers from the power sector, road and railroad construction, and sales and installation of metal structures on the First Aid facilities in Zagreb, sports hall Lora in Split etc.

The growth of revenue from the international sales is anticipated in the second half of 2008 mainly from the projects underway (Kazakhstan - Design and construction of 500 kV transmission lines in length of 390 km, Albania - construction of 400 kV Tirana -Podgorica transmission line and the accompanying feeder bays, Bosnia and Herzegovina - Rehabilitation of “grey zones”, i.e. bad electric power circumstances in distribution of Elektroprivreda hrvatske zajednice Herceg Bosna and Norway - Construction of 420 kV Skareheia (Evje)-Holen transmission line, in length of 105 km).

Net profit of the company Dalekovod d.d. in the first 6 months of 2008 amounts to 18,557 million kunas which shows an increase of 3.5% in relation to the first 6 months in 2007.

Further, it should be noted that last year the Design Division separated itself from Dalekovod d.d. to be established as a special company Dalekovod-Projekt d.o.o. and has meanwhile realized a revenue of ca 20 million kunas in the first six months in 2008, while net profit amounts to 1.7 million kunas.
