The company Unidal d.o.o. Vinkovci was founded on 1st January 2006 as a result of common investment by the companies Dalekovod d.d. Zagreb (Republic of Croatia) and Unior d.d. Zreče (Republic of Slovenia).

The company was formed from the blacksmith whose business started at the start of the previous century and during the period between 1963 and 2005, the company was a production unit for Dalekovod d.d. Zagreb.

The core business of the company is the production of warm forged steel covering the following production program:

Production of forged steel for suspension and jointing equipment for all types of transmission lines up to 500kV,
Production of forged steel for the electrification of railway lines,
Production of forged steel for the automobile industry (forged steel for control mechanisms for personal automobiles and various carriers for chasis),
Production of all types of forged steel for various purposes.

Five forged aggregates produce around 250 tones of forged steel monthly, with masses from 0.1 to 2kg (with exception up to 5kg depending on the shape and dimension of the forged steel).

Production occurs on free-falling and air hammers at energies of 1500 to 3900 kpm and friction presses and horizontal forged machinery.

Production of forged steel is carried out in compliance with the requirements by international standards ISO 9001:2000 and the established standard ISO TS 16949 for the automobile industry.
